The agriturismo
Castelrotto is a renovated old hamlet that can accommodate up to 20 people.
It is rentable only as a whole property and only for exclusive use (no room rental) and is located in the center of the Castelnuovo Tancredi wine estate, located in the renowned Val d'Orcia area.
600 hectares of unspoiled Tuscan countryside where cereals, extra virgin olive oil and wine are produced all following the metodoto organic for more than 20 years.
The accommodation
The Borgo consists of 9 rooms all with air conditioning and ceiling fans 8 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, 3 living rooms, a beautiful swimming pool, barbecue area and a huge garden. The view of an ancient olive grove and a large valley guarantee 100% privacy. In the background Montalcino and the beautiful view of the Golf Clud of Castiglion del Bosco. The main house has 6 bedrooms and 6 private bathrooms to which 2 children's rooms are added, while the small barn in the middle of the garden has 2 more double bedrooms with private bathrooms.
A beautiful newly redone swimming pool has a unique view of the valley beyond the olive grove. All rooms have air conditioning and some also have antique ceiling fans. A large room on the ground floor of the main house is now the main living room of the villa. Large windows and wooden doors open onto the garden where a covered patio and a second pergola is available to guests for al fresco dining along with a barbecue made especially for the purpose by a craftsman fabro from Buonconvento. Guests have their own private pool and the peace and quiet that a property like this can offer.
Activities and surrounding
To make guests' stay as pleasant as possible, the following are offered: wine tasting in the estate's wine cellar; typical dinner at home with the help of local cooks, true keepers of the region's culinary secrets; organized excursions ; breakfast basket ; daily housekeeping service . Minimum stay of 7 nights during the high summer season and 5 - 4 nights in the mid-season.
