The agriturismo
Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, seated on a plateau in the heart of the Chianti Colli Senesi area, the agriturismo is a medieval complex that has recently been renovated and retains all the charm of the traditional buildings of the period, with split-level roofs, loggias, terraces, thick stone walls and areas set between the buildings.
The accommodation
The skilfully renovated apartments are comfortable and functional, while retaining architectural elements typical of the period: terracotta floors, ceilings with wooden beams, antique furniture. Each apartment has a fully-equipped brick kitchen.
The agriturismo is surrounded by a park with swimming pool ( 11x8 m), sun terrace (10x10 m) and green lawns shaded by mulberry trees, pines, oaks and cypresses.
Activities and surrounding
Borgo Santinovo enjoys a strategic location, just 5 km from Colle Val d’Elsa, a town with shops, a supermarket and amenities known as the city of crystal, with its characteristic medieval village.
It takes a few minutes’ drive to reach the beautiful cities of Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra and Florence.
