Located at the foot of Pienza, the farmhouse enjoys a corner of unspoilt nature within the Natural Artistic Park of Val d'Orcia.
The accommodation
Lunadoro agritourism in Val d'Orcia provides its guests accommodation for all needs. Our holiday farmhouse a few kilometers from Pienza offers double rooms and apartments equipped with every comfort. Kitchen and living room, garden and swimming pool always available, barbecue area, a beautiful billiard room and a pergola where breakfast is served. The farm Lunadoro offers above all a warm welcome: Gigliola, Dario and the guys Veronica and Federico will let you feel at home. Our family estate covering 400 hectares in the Val d'Orcia where we grow cereals, olives and grapes. At Lunadoro Agritourism you will also find the store with our products. We also cooperate with local companies and we will be happy to recommend you where to find the best typical products of Val d'Orciadi: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino, Pecorino di Pienza, the traditional pici, honey, jams, tuscan cured meats and much more... Inside our farm a stone's throw from the agritourism we also have a beautiful fishing pond and a grove equipped with a picnic area. Activities and surrounding
Inside the estate, in addition to the cultivated fields, guests will find a small lake (fed by the Tresa stream) for sport fishing, a grove equipped with picnic area; it is possible to organize horseback riding, walking or mountain biking along beautiful nature trails where you can admire fallow deer, pheasants, hares and other animals in complete freedom.
For relaxation and recreation, the agriturismo has a billiard room and swimming pool with electrolysis purification system (chlorine free).
Between Pienza and Monticchiello, in the green Val d'Orcia and not far from Valdichiana, the farmhouse is also ideal as a starting point to visit all Tuscany.
The farm La Bandita e Lunadoro was born in Val d'Orcia with the production of cereals; with the acquisition of the Pagliareto farm in Valiano di Montepulciano the surface of the vineyards has been enlarged to over 10 hectares reserved for Vino Nobile di Montepulciano; therefore a new cellar with modern winemaking technologies has been built.
