The agriturismo

Surrounded by Montalcino's famous Brunello di Montalcino vineyards, 500 m from the town's historic center, the farmhouse enjoys beautiful views of the Val d'Orcia.

The accommodation

Immersed in the Brunello vineyards, 3 independent apartments have been finely restored and furnished with fine Tuscan antiques.

The farmhouse sports typical stone masonry that harmonizes with a characteristic play of roofs overlooking the enchanting valley.

 

The apartments in detail:

La Terrazza is on the second floor and due to its structure can be divided into two units: Terrace and Yellow Room. A single entrance leads on the left to the living room, kitchen, ante-bathroom and bathroom, bedroom and the large panoramic terrace from which it takes its name. Frontally there is access to the Yellow Room, consisting of an ante-bathroom, bathroom and master bedroom.

Gli Archetti is a ground-floor apartment and takes its name from its arched windows. It is accessed from a panoramic outdoor veranda and consists of a living room, kitchen, ante-bathroom, bathroom and bedroom.

Funghetto is located on the ground floor; similar to the Terrace apartment in terms of its structure, it can potentially be split into two units: Funghetto Rosa and Camera Azzurra.


Funghetto Rosa enjoys a large panoramic outdoor veranda; it owes its name to its mushroom-shaped front door. It has a living room with kitchen, ante-bathroom, bathroom and double bedroom with pink walls.

The Blue Room, with blue walls, can be unified with the Pink Mushroom through a door located in the kitchen, and an exterior door makes it independent; it offers a small kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. This room is the most penalized in terms of the view, which can be enjoyed from the outside, however.

Activities and surrounding

The agritourism is located in the center of a beautiful wine-growing area, a chance to immerse yourself in rural Tuscany and to hear time ticking away by the mere tolling of Montalcino's square bell.

Strategic location for visiting multiple places including theAbbey of S'Antimo, Bagno Vignoni, Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena, Monte Amiata and even nearby Maremma.

 

Upon request, courses in crochet and knitting, decoupage and painting on fabric, Tuscan cooking, furniture restoration and gardening are organized on the farm. Visits and tastings in wineries possible.
