La Moiana 1756 is located in the middle of the homonymous farmland, cultivated with organic practices; downstream of the farmhouse you can enjoy the fantastic landscape that makes famous the Val d' Orcia and all of Tuscany in the world: soft hills, iconic cypress trees, medieval villages and incredible sunsets. Two apartments are offered: free wi-fi , equipped kitchens and all the comforts for a relaxing holiday.
The accommodation
The farmhouse was built in the building that housed the old Granary, completely renovated during the year 2019, spread over two floors furnished and finished in the classic style of the "Tuscan farmhouse": floors made with rough bricks, wooden and brick ceilings, lintels of doors and windows made of wood or brick, without forgetting the recent technological innovations; in fact, the whole Farmhouse is equipped with modern air conditioning systems, thermal break fixtures and insulation systems of the walls and roof to try to make the structure as eco-sustainable as possible continuing what has already started with the organic cultivation of the land that make up the entire Farm.
The Farmhouse is divided into 2 parts:
- "Il Granaio" is the apartment located on the first floor, accessible by the staircase on the east side of the farm, consisting of 1 double bedroom, a living room with sofa bed for 2 persons, a dining area with kitchenette and a bathroom.
- "L'Oliveto" is the apartment situated on the ground floor composed of a double bedroom with bathroom, a triple bedroom with bathroom and a living area with kitchenette in addition to a large porch. The apartment is ideal to accommodate two people up to a maximum of 5 people.
Free Wifi, kitchens also equipped with coffee maker, microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator and oven, as well as kitchen utensils. You will also have at your disposal toiletries and hairdryer.
Activities and surrounding
The farm is located in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, in the northern part of the municipality of Castiglione d'Orcia, very close to San Quirico d'Orcia and all the typical villages of the area. The main agricultural activities concern the cultivation of small productions of cereals and above all extra virgin olive oil; according to the seasons fruit and vegetables cultivated respecting the criteria of organic farming can be available.
Moiana 1756 is located in Castiglione d'Orcia. Palazzo Borgia and the Civic and Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art are two of the main cultural attractions in the area. Other stops not to be missed include the sixteenth century Horti Leonini Park and Bosco della Ragnaia. Tenuta La Foce and Centro Benessere Terme di Montepulciano are also worth a visit.

I stayed two nights with my boyfriend at this structure to say the least fantastic.
