Torreprima Holidays farmhouse is 3km away from the historical center of San Gimignano, situated on top of a hill from where it is possible to enjoy the beautiful view over the surrounding valleys of olive groves and vineyards. It has availability of 5 apartments able to host from 2 to 4 persons.
The apartments have all been recently renovated in traditional tuscan style. The apartments are heated and all have an independent entrance and a private outdoor area equipped with garden fornitures. Here, it is possible to enjoy the coutryside, going for relaxing walks, swim in the swimming pool, or play table tennis.
The farmhouse is surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, vineyards, oaks, mediterranean scrub, and is about 300m on the sea level. The surronding area is hilly with old-aged cypresses, with several paths where is possible to appreciate and taste colors and smells of the country.
The cottage is divided in four apartments of different size, all on the ground floor and with ample external area, in order to best satisfy our visitors' requirements. All the apartments have independent entrance, autonomous heating (to pay on usage), kitchenette and satellite TV. The furnishings are simple but cozy.
The flats Torre IV and Rosmarino 2 consist of a sitting room-kitchen, a small room with two single beds, the double bedroom and the bathroom with the shower. The kitchen is well equipped and outside there is a wide open air area with table, chairs and sunshade to spend nice hours outdoors.
Rosmarino 3 is smaller than the others, it consist of a kitchenette, equipped with all the necessary, the sitting room, the double bedroom and the bathroom with the shower. There is also a wide external space furnished with table, chairs and sunshade where to enjoy a pleasant view of the surrounding landscape.
The apartment Il Girasole, unlike the other apartments, is on the first floor and includes an entrance with a sofa, kitchenette in the livingroom and equipped with everything necessary, livingroom with a fireplace and a sofa, a double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Also this apartment, despite being on the first floor, has an outside area with table, chairs and umbrella.
Every flat has plenty of space to hang out the washing and has the iron and the ironing board and we supply also the bed and bath linen. Available to our customer the free usage of washing machine, wide parking, beach umbrella and deck chair at the swimming pool, and the usage of a barbecue in the garden. Upon request, you can rent a mountain bike and have baby sitting services.
Torre Prima Holidays is a farm holiday complex situated in a good position, from which it is very easy and quickly to reach worldwide famous tourist destinations for their artistic beauties and richnesses. San Gimignano, only 3 km far from Torre Prima Holidays, unique for its architectures, is a medieval village with ancient towers attracting people coming from everywhere. Siena can be admired with all its simple beauty, narrow streets, cramped suburbs and grand squares. Firenze is the jewel of Tuscany: museums, work of arts, historical buildings and charm that can all be seen in one quick glance from Piazzale Michelangelo, a wide balcony place embracing all the city.
Volterra, small like San Gimignano, but evocative for its beauty wrapped up in ancient stone walls, is renowned for the alabaster mines, representing its beauty and for its archeological ruins dated back to Etrurian period. Monteriggioni is built on the top of a hill and the first thing you can note it is city wall surrounding the village with 14 towers, like a big stones crown; the village is small but it is a urban masterpiece. Montepulciano Montepulciano presents itself to the visitors as in the Middle Ages, that is an ensemble of stone and brick buildings, on the edge of a rocking hill called Il Sasso. It is noteworthy for the wine Nobile di Montepulciano, ricognised as one of the most qualified and requested wines of these areas, conserved in cellars directly dig in the tuff and easly visitables.
Also Montalcino is a medieval town, in the distance it can be admired its impressive fortress built by the Siena people, where to enjoy the view of the wonderful surrounding landscape; today it is mostly famous to be the native land of Brunello, the worldwide most appreciate and estimated red wine. Pisa is 13 Km far from the sea in a wide plain protected by the Pisano Mount. It is famous for its leaning tower and the Miracles Square, where it is possible to visit the beautiful Cathedral, the Baptistry and the Monumentary Cemetery. Lucca is an ancient and noble town, rich of churches and towers of the Common Age, reinassance buildings and nice streets. The oldest part of the town is hold in a well preserved circle of walls giving it a particular and typical aspect. San Galgano is famous for the uncovered church, result of the air raids during the last World War : the walls are intact instead the roof is completely collapsed. Closed to the abbey there is another church containing the famous sword in the rock. Pienza is the miniature of a big reinassance town, not developed due to unlucky historical circustances. Very fascinating is also the country around it.
