The agriturismo
5-star agriturismo, in an advantageous position a short distance from Assisi, among the hills surrounding the mediaeval town of Bettona, an enchanting Etruscan hill town in the verdant Umbrian countryside.
Surrounded by olive groves, accommodation is provided in rooms or apartments for a relaxing holiday; the two restaurants in the agriturismo provide guests with the opportunity to experience delicious Umbrian cuisine. The farm produces extra virgin olive oil from its own olive groves, with the oil-making process performed in house.
The accommodation
The heart of the agriturismo is an historic and carefully renovated 17th century farmhouse perched in a hilltop position. The farmhouse accommodates our Osteria "DiVin Porcello", here the happy combination of Umbrian gastronomy and the chef's imagination gives life to an excellent cuisine, a perfect balance between tradition and modernity that will allow you to savor wonderful dishes to rediscover the Umbrian tradition in front of an enchanting terrace with a breathtaking view!
The rooms feature independent entrance, TV, minibar, valuables safe, hair-dryer, telephone, air conditioning and bathroom with hydro massage tub; each room is distinctive in terms of colours, fabrics and furnishings. Room prices always include breakfast, cleaning and daily room tidying up.
The apartments, in a panoramic position approximately 500 m from the main structure, are composed of a lounge with fully equipped kitchenette, TV, refrigerator, double bedrooms and bathroom with shower. Single room and two-room apartments are available, with a barbecue in the adjacent garden area. The apartments are equipped with bed linen and towels (changed weekly) and there is the possibility of an extra cleaning service and daily rearrangement of the apartment.The prices indicate the treatment of overnight stay only, it is always possible to add breakfast (€ 13 / adult and € 8.00 / child).
For the kids there's a special play area with swings. a slide, a playhouse and farm animals: Sienese Cinta pigs, goats, a pony, fallow deer and a pond with ducks and geese.
Free use of the new infinity swimming pool, the multipurpose tennis court (tennis, volley and five-a-side football). The NEW SWIMMING POOL with salt water (no chlorine) equipped with 4 two-seater hydromassage stations, foot massage, relaxation beach with soft touch and infinity edge with a breathtaking view of Assisi combined with the beneficial effect of the relaxation corner with the sensory garden ... a new concept of swimming pool dedicated solely and exclusively to the well-being and relaxation of our guests!
The Poggio degli Olivi is a farm resort that produces directly from its olive groves, by cold pressing, extra virgin olive oil of excellent quality that guests will have the opportunity to taste and buy, along with other products of the farm
Activities and surrounding
In the area around the agriturismo guests can visit a series of enchanting mediaeval towns and cities. Popular destinations include Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Montefalco, and Bevagna.
Nature lovers will enjoy a trip to lake Trasimeno and the Marmore Falls; alternatively there are plenty of opportunities for sports, hiking and environmental games.
From October to November guests can help with the olive harvest, watch the oil production process and taste or purchase the finished product.
