The agriturismo
The agriturismo is part of a 150 hectare farm specialising in the production of cereal, vegetables and olive oil. Enjoying spectacular views of the old part of Perugia, the agriturismo is located near to the medieval municipality of Torgiano, known as a “City of Wine”.
The accommodation
The careful renovation of an old farmhouse from the mid-1800s and the adjoining tobacco dryer, carried out with the utmost respect for the original architecture, has created eight spacious apartments for 6, 4 and 2 people, all tastefully furnished and each with their own bathroom, open fireplace and private garden furniture.
The large gardens surrounding the estate include a swimming pool, solarium with umbrellas and comfortable sunbeds, a children's play area and a covered area with a ping pong table and billiards.
The agriturismo offers cookery courses, Deruta ceramics courses, barbecue evenings for guests and, for lovers of food and wine, there are tasting sessions with typical Umbrian produce and Torgiano wine as well as oil, vegetables and eggs for sale.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can take a tour of the farm, or explore the local area and sample some of its fine food and wine. Sports fans will enjoy the nearby riding centre, golf courses and tennis courts, or why not try a sport of fishing in the lake or on the Tiber River?
Perugia is 8 km away, Assisi 15 km, Gubbio 40 km, Todi 30 km, Spoleto 60 km, Siena 110 km, Florence 150 km, and Rome 180 km.
