The agriturismo
The agriturismo is in Giano dell'Umbria, surrounded by olive trees, fruit trees and woodland, ideally located for exploring the whole of Umbria. The traditional farmhouse has been recently renovated, and there is a selection of delicious typical produce for sale. The farm also produces a wonderful extra virgin olive oil using the cold extraction technique.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is provided in six apartments (two-room and three-room) with private access and outdoor space with tables and chairs. The accommodation is typically furnished, and each apartment boasts a kitchen, lounge with open fire and sofa beds, one or two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, TV with international channels and internet access. The ground floor apartment is also accessible to disabled guests. Mountain bikes, a barbecue, laundry facilities and ample parking are all provided.
Outside you’ll find a large swimming pool and a garden with solarium equipped with sunbeds, tables and umbrellas.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can help gather blackberries, cherries, asparagus, mushrooms, almonds and, if you possess a permit, you can forage for truffles with your dog. The region offers events and exhibitions all year round, from Umbria Jazz to Eurochocolate, the Cantine Aperte wine cellar event, Molini/Frantoi Aperti and the Quintana jousting tournament in Foligno.
Close by you’ll find riding centres, tennis courts and fishing lakes. Assisi, Todi, Perugia, Spoleto, Bevagna and Montefalco are all just a short distance away.
