Agriturismo Tenuta di Forte Sorgnano

The Forte Sorgnano estate stands in the hills between Assisi and Perugia, Todi and Montefalco.

The estate covers more than 200 hectares and is dominated by the castle of the same name, which dates back to 900 A.D. Today its four farmhouses are an agritourism, which has been hosting international clientele in its comfortable apartments and delightful rooms for fifteen years.

The castle of Sorgnano, on the other hand, after careful renovation, has become an evocative location for events and weddings as well as hosting 2 splendid accommodations (Lavender and Corbezzolo)to fully experience it.

At the castle from June to September, dinners and other evenings are organized for guests of the farmhouse.

The farmhouse consists of 4 farmhouses. The main one, a recently renovated 19th-century farmhouse, houses 8 two-room apartments 2 2, the second farmhouse houses 2 three-room apartments 4 2 150 m from the pool, and the main house houses the restaurant and rooms.

The restaurant, located in the central farmhouse, houses two cozy rooms plus a beautiful veranda overlooking the estate and the castle.

The chef serves traditional and non-traditional dishes, using local and fresh ingredients.

The castle houses 1 room and 1 apartment on the second floor while the ground floor houses its halls.

Its terrace and beautiful inner courtyard is a special place where you can celebrate events, weddings, corporate dinners,birthdays.

All two-room apartments are equipped with: satellite TV,independent heating, refrigerator, dishwasher, hair dryer and everything you need for cooking. Some are equipped with a fireplace.

LE QUERCE: Ground floor apartment, 90 sqm in size, 2 double bedrooms (1 with canopy bed), 2 bathrooms with shower, living room with fireplace, open attic with 2 single beds, kitchen, covered veranda (20 sqm) with table, chairs and umbrella, private garden (80 sqm).
LA LIMONAIA: Ground floor apartment, 90 sqm in size, 2 double bedrooms (1 with canopy bed),2 bathrooms with shower,living room with fireplace, open attic with 2 single beds, kitchen, covered veranda (20 sqm) with table and chairs, private garden (80 sqm). The 2 three-room apartments are, if necessary, communicating from the veranda and the loft. THE LECCHIO: 90 sqm 20 sqm covered porch, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, living room with fireplace and double sofa bed, private garden.

All three-room apartments are equipped with: satellite TV, fireplace, independent heating, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, hair dryer and everything you need for cooking.

The furniture with attention to detail respect the characteristics of these places. Chestnut beams, terracotta tiles, impruneta terracotta, arte povera furniture and wrought iron: these are the elements of a decor that is elegant and rustic at the same time.

The 2 classic rooms, located on the second floor of the main house, are double rooms with bathrooms. Bright and cozy, they are each 20/25 square meters in size, with views of the olive grove and surrounding hills. On the ground floor is a cozy reading room where you can relax with reading texts in Italian and English.

The family suite room x 4, also located on the second floor of the manor house, consists of double bedroom and room with bunk beds and single bed; private bathroom with shower

Il Corbezzolo: apartment with matrimnial bedroom,living room,with prnazo area,kitchen and bathroom equipped with smart tv,wifi and everything you need to cook.

Both have direct access to the castle terrace.

The rooms also all have a rustic and elegant style thanks also to the furniture and details in Umbrian style of the 1800s. They are also equipped with private bathrooms, TV, heating, hairdryer and hair dryer.

The property has a playground and free wireless zone in the common areas.

The farm covers 208 hectares, of which 180 hectares consist of woodland, within which you can find every species of tree: from oaks to firs. The remaining 28 hectares surrounding the farmhouses are home to a centuries-old olive grove. These plants are cared for and pruned only by expert hands and according to the most ancient tradition.
From the olive grove is produced an excellent extra virgin olive
oil, also within the company you can also buy local products such as wine, grappa, vin santo, pasta, truffle sauces.
The farm offers many possibilities. From the swimming pool to the mountain bikes, from the ping pong table to the possibility of walking along the paths of the farm and also a playground for children, a bowling green, a volleyball field, a soccer field and a farm with animals (goats, pigs, geese, hens, rabbits, guinea fowls, ducks, etc.).

Finally, a large barbecue with green space is available for tasty moments outdoors.
