The agriturismo
The farmhouse is located close to Gubbio, on the top of a 680 m high hill, surrounded by natural paths, woods and cultivated fields.
It was born by a delightful country house recently restored, in the heart of an organic farm of 150 hectares, near the Umbrian Apennines.
The accommodation
Villa Dama farmhouse consists of 4 buildings, far almost 1 km from eachother. In everyone there are rooms and apartments, all equipped with bathroom (with bathtube or shower), complimentary ste, tv sat, heating system.
Villa Dama is the name of the main. It disposes of 2 apartments on the first floor and 4 rooms just few steps away to the pool. Guests are welcomed here for breakfast and the dinner in the wide dining room on the ground floor and, in summer, on the panoramic terrace. Every meal is prepared with our organic products. From the milk just milked for breakfast to the bread made in the wood oven, till the vegetables and the meat for the supper.
The other buildings (Il Casale, La Ginestra, La Collina dei Ginepri and La Fattoria) surrounded by graves and woods, offer to guests a relaxing stay. Each one is situated on a panoramic position, with gardens, children games, private parking.
The swimming pools made of stone, one at Villa Dama and the other at "Il Casale", are at our guests disposal.
Activities and surrounding
Throughout the year, our Guests can walk among the paths and go on tours of the estate and the farm, assisting in daily activities such as milking the cows in the morning.The agriturismo, depending on the period, offers the possibility of taking a tour of the farm "on the agribus" to see the animals up close, and for those who, on the other hand, love to discover the secrets of good food, Luciana and Simone offer fun cooking classes, even for celiacs, while Franco will reveal the secret of the master butchers by taking you to his workshop operando making salami and cheese together.
Umbria is a land of natural and artistic treasures:
- The park of "Monte Cucco," a few kilometers from the farmhouse, is known as the "Mountain Sports Park," you can practice, in fact, gliding, caving and cross-country skiing.
- Gubbio, just 10 min, is a medieval center where the Palazzo dei Consoli, Piazza della Signoria, the Roman theater and Gubbio Cathedral stand out.
- Assisi, just 40 min, is famous for monuments and churches to visit, such as the Upper Basilica of St. Francis and the Lower Basilica, the Cathedral of San Rufino, the church of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli with the Porziuncola.
- Perugia, just 40 min away, is an ancient medieval town famous for the National Gallery, the Etruscan Well, the Oratory of San Bernardino and the Corso Vannucci.

As well as we cook for the guests, we rear the animals, we run the courses.
