In a precious area surrounded by vineyards and olive groves nestled in the hills of Narni, the farmhouse La Nocciolaia offers hospitality, familiarity and exclusive accommodation with elegant and refined furnishings in a recently renovated old farmhouse.

The residence with large swimming pool is immersed in an organic hazelnut grove and is surrounded by a cultivation of over 500 lavender plants offering beautiful borders in bloom in the June/July period.

The property is well connected and easily accessible.

There are 2 accommodations and a limited number of guests available at the property, ensuring a select level of hospitality, aimed at families and couples seeking privacy in an exclusive environment dedicated to them.

Apartment suite on the second floor,(sleeps 4) consisting of a fully equipped kitchen finished with hand-painted tiles, gas cooking area, refrigerator, and spacious fireplace. Spacious living room furnished with antiques and sofas, master bedroom with queen-size four-poster bed with an additional single bed and an antique cradle for infant, small bedroom with single bed, bathroom with spacious mosaic shower. Available covered outdoor terrace with rattan table and armchairs for exclusive use of the apartment. All rooms offer accurate finishing and warm welcome with oak parquet floor, double-glazed chestnut windows and antique wooden furniture. This solution is suitable for families and/or group of friends.

Double bedroom on the ground floor with large panoramic terrace,(sleeps 2) consisting of double bedroom with entrance door also suitable for disabled, large acccogllient bathroom with handles and large shower. Available adjacent large covered terrace/porch with terracotta floor, panoramic, furnished with two sofas and tables, ideal setting for lunch/dinner in the vicinity of a large brick barbecue. This solution is appropriate for young and older couples .

Each room has its own unique private entrance and large shaded area with tables and chairs (porch and/or terrace). All rooms are furnished with authentic antique wooden furniture and numerous antiques.

Available to guests is free wi-fi, ample private parking , a bathroom line with fine soaps, television and brick barbecue in outdoor area with large grill and wood available (on request you can be assisted in preparing the grill).

Laundry service available; upon request and preference, the room is furnished with pure linen fabrics and sheets.

The residence offers a large garden with aromatic herbs in pots and in the open (marjoram, thyme, sage, mint, rosemary) and specifically the cultivation of lover 500 lavender plants offering beautiful flowering borders in the June/July period. Terraces with precious and characteristic dry stone walls are visible on the property.

There are farmyard animals , hens and geese are raised in specific outdoor areas, having fresh eggs available daily. Amateur cocker spaniel dogs are bred at the facility.

The hazelnut grove and all the crops surrounding the facility comply with the specifications set forth by organic farming in total well-being and respect for nature.

In the stay, guests will be able to witness the working of the land, following the seasonal period they will be able to participate in the grape and olive harvest , pick seasonal vegetables and fruits, and will be able to understand the local tradition and history and appreciate the naturalistic values.

La Nocciolaia develops an excellent variety of selected organic crops (olive grove, hazel grove, mixed garden, vineyard, apple orchard).

The area is pristine, and the proximity to the forested environment and the cultivated hillside has favored the constant presence of many species of animals, there are many varieties of wild animals such as wild boar, badger, fox, ferret, dormouse, wolf. Large numbers of butterflies are present, and on late spring nights one can witness the magnificent and elegant spectacle of dancing fireflies . Numerous species of birds are reported to be present including passerines and birds of prey such as owl and barn owl. The presence of binoculars mounted on tripods allows visitors to fully enjoy viewing the wealth of numerous bird specimens(bird watching).

The experience of tasting high-quality wine and oil and seasonal fruits directly from the field (figs, apricots, peaches, pears, apples, cherries, nuts, hazelnuts) is offered. Tours of wine production at nearby wineries are possible upon request.

Accompanied tours available at archaeological area of Ocriculum (otricoli), Ursuline museum art collection of Calvi, Speco di San Francesco di Narni, Augustus bridge and places of interest in Narni.

At 30 minutes from the property it is possible to view the Marmore Falls .

Trekking and nature walks (excellent area to search for truffles and mushrooms in suitable seasons and periods).
