The agriturismo
The agriturismo, set in the Renewable Energy Park, is built according to an eco-sustainable model without foregoing comforts and includes an educational farm.
Guests will be told all about the procedures involved in designing a warm, welcoming and eco-friendly accommodation facility.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers 9 accommodation units of different kinds: the Comfort Room, an apartment with kitchen and patio, the Zero energy home and a Suite with bar area.
The restaurant is open subject to reservations and meets all dietary needs (vegetarian and vegan menus, also made from the farm’s own and local organic produce). Coffee breaks, self-service buffet lunches, and tasting banquets can be organised.
The agriturismo has a teaching room for 30 with audio-visual system and everything necessary for courses and training programmes of one or more days (free wi-fi connection). There is also a large function room for 60 with stage, bar, and light and sound system, ideal for conferences, seminars, corporate meetings, presentations, social events and parties.
The Renewable Energy Park is an Environmental Education Centre committed to reducing human impact on the environment and educating people about sustainability and energy saving. It is almost completely self sufficient thanks to the use of photovoltaic and solar panels, rain water harvesting (used for toilets instead of drinking water), natural cooling systems, wind turbines and so on.
Activities and surrounding
The area is full of natural attractions such as the Marmore Falls, the Fossil forest of Dunarobba and Lake Bolsena. And there is also Amelia, Todi, the ruins of the Roman city of Carsule, the village of Civitella sul Lago. Rome and Viterbo are less than one hour away.
Plenty of biking, cycling and mountain bike trails for lovers of outdoor sports.
