The agriturismo
A traditional farmhouse agriturismo established at the end of last century, located on the Montello slopes. Inspired by his love for this region, the owner Giovanni offers a wholesome welcome and delicious cuisine, made with fresh seasonal produce and wild game, showcasing all the pleasure they find in reinterpreting local tradition.
The accommodation
The farmhouse has been skilfully renovated, preserving the natural tones, the mansard ceiling, the stones which originally made up the walls and the hand-planed larch wood flooring, all of which create an other-worldly vibe, with all the typical ambience of a Montello home.
Upstairs, you’ll find 5 double rooms, three of which include private bathrooms, the other two with communal facilities. All rooms enjoy beautiful views of the garden, the vines and the surrounding hills.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo stands on the Montello slopes, at the start of the “Presa VI”, one of the 21 “roads” designed by the Serenissima Republic in the early 1400s to control the forest area.
The region is also known as the Val dell'acqua, or Water Valley, and boasts a very specific microclimate: even on the muggiest summer evenings, you can dine on the outdoor terrace enjoying a temperature that is pleasantly cool (a sweater is recommended, but the agriturismo can provide cosy blankets too).
