Easy to reach from the Tiberina E45 highway that connects the north to the south, is located 2 km from Mercato Saraceno, in the small village of Montesasso The ancient residence was built at the end of 1700 from the ruins of the Castle of Monte sasso dating back to 970 and was renovated with conservative restoration in 2006. The furniture is rustic, minimalist, with an ancient flavour and is embellished with objects and historical finds found in the underground cellars of the building. The rooms are spacious with stone walls and original beams It has a large garden with fruit trees and vegetable garden where you can pick vegetables grown without pesticides. On the large veranda it is possible to taste our own wines, dine outside and relax at sunset on the panoramic view of the valley. The farm is committed to producing fine wines and is in organic conversion since 2016. The care of the vineyard, cultivated with Sangiovese, is done mainly with the warmth and affection of the hands, the mechanical operations are reduced to the essentials. Tasting is possible in the sandstone cellar or outdoors on the panoramic terrace just a few steps from the vineyard.
