Immersed in the But valley, at the foot of the Carnic Alps, the agriturismo managed by the Maieron family was founded on the desire to create a pleasant welcoming atmosphere for vacations, for a weekend full of flavors and traditional dishes, of medicinal herbs, nature, and farm animals.
The agritursimo offers genuine cuisine, typical for the Carnic area, with flavorful dishes prepared by Marcellina and Simone.
Along with the traditional dishes – herb cjarsons; ricotta, rocket or bladder campion gnocchi, tagliatelle with mushrooms, minestrone soup with beans, various barley soups, potato and cheese fry (frico con patate), sautéed or roast rabbit, stewed lamb – are middle-European dishes such as beef goulash, canederli, and raclette.
Mixed grill specialties on order and various types of steamed local vegetables, even the traditional “cartufulis cun lidric”.The deserts shine with the apple pie and tart with ricotta and jam. Parties and events with dedicated menus (up to 25 – 30 people).
The rooms are well equipped and immersed in nature, away from the animal barns and so perfectly peaceful.
