The agriturismo
An estate immersed in the nature and tranquility of Palombara Sabina, surrounded by eight hectares of hills and in the vicinity of the artistic treasures of Rome and Lazio.
The restaurant elegantly offers typical local organic products: oil, fresh pasta, meats, cheeses, jams and the famous local cherries, the Cerase di Palombara.
The accommodation
Guests spend their holidays in a building on the hilltop, with ample outdoor areas for leisure time, lunch and dinner. There are 8 rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, TV, WI-FI and complimentary toiletry set.
Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, children’s playground, and upon request, extras for smaller children: crib, changing table, bottle warmer, infant bathtub.
The restaurant also organizes banquets for special events, facing the panoramic terrace, with local specialties including fresh pasta, kilometer 0 vegetables, grilled meats, homemade bread and pies. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes are also available. The farm also organizes wine tastings.
The farm's products cultivated in the organic garden and fields can be purchased onsite.
Activities and surrounding
The estate is inside of the Monti Lucretili Regional Park, at the foot of Monte Gennaro: there are many opportunities for hiking, biking or horseback riding on the nature trails, thanks to a partnership agreement with the local stables. Relaxing by the swimming pool, or just simply enjoying the view are recommended.
It is easy to visit the charming medieval village of Palombara Sabina, and others in the surrounding area, with the Montecelio and Sant’Angelo Romano castles.
The farm is also an excellent starting point for historic-cultural visits: some of the most interesting of these include the Farfa Abbey, a national monument enveloped in an aura of sacredness and peace.
In a half hour by car or by train, with a stop near the farm, it is possible to reach Rome and the Vatican City.
Tivoli, with its Roman villas (villa D'Este, villa Adriana and villa Gregoriana, in particular), the gardens, fountains, all only 20 minutes away.
