Rooms and apartments in a traditional farmhouse, skilfully renovated to preserve the original features, surrounded by a beautiful green lawn overlooked by the property's verandas.
Established in 1985, the 4 hectare farm comprises Carignano D.O.C. and Vermentino vines, an olive grove with 4 age old olive trees, and a greenhouse for cultivating fruit and vegetables.
The accommodation
The main body of the renovated farmhouse is home to the restaurant, 2 rooms with private bathrooms and spacious verandas looking on to over 2000 square metres of lawn, and the old stables have been converted to create a further 2 rooms with private bathrooms, 2 apartments with bathrooms, kitchenettes and mezzanines, and a beautiful veranda alongside the vine which provides a partition between the two buildings. Bathrooms include courtesy organic toiletries and hairdryers.
At the heart of the restaurant, a large fire provides the room's centrepiece, welcoming in guests and bringing warmth and romance. Spanning around 70 square metres, the space features tables and furniture in solid wood. Here guests can enjoy generous buffet breakfasts, and in the evening, after an aperitif of house Vermentino, dinners of wonderful local dishes. Along with the entire structure with its verandas and green space, the restaurant is available for weddings, events, meetings, conferences and themed evenings.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is ideally located for those who enjoy trekking, mountain biking, horseback excursions, or exploring by quad bike, dinghy or boat. Sirimagus is around 35 km from Iglesias and the Monteponi Mines, 16 km from the Is Zuddas Caves, 18 km from the stunning Porto Pino beach, 4 km from the Sirimagus nuraghe, 24 km from Calasetta and 14 km from Carbonia and the Museum of Coal.
