With a view over the hills, just a short distance from the city, immersed in nature, the agriturismo offers you a vacation in uncontaminated nature, enjoying regenerating walks in the woods, the genuine breakfast and cuisine of Emilia, visits to cities and old towns to discover.
The immediate production of the food used to prepare the dishes, select fresh products; the discovery and protection of traditional recipes are the foundations of the restaurant philosophy of these accommodation facilities.
The redundant boars on the farm are selected under the authorization of the Servizio Tutela e Sviluppo Fauna (Department for Protection and Development of Wildlife) of the Province of Bologna. Their meat is used for making exquisite cold cuts.
The 10 guest rooms on the upper floors have TVs, free Wi-Fi, bathrooms, and hairdryers.Two rooms are disabled accessible.
The ground floor houses the kitchen and dining room for up to 50 guests.
Homemade cakes and tarts are the staples of the abundant breakfast buffet. Dinners and lunches are served outdoors in the summer and in the dining room with fireplace in the winter. The cuisine features traditional dishes from Emilia, based on game and the products produced on the farm, combined with their own wines (Pignoletto, Cabernet and Merlot).
Upon request, picnics can be organized in the woods with a barbecue.
An estate with lawns, woods, vineyards, cultivated fields, and fruit orchards, the agriturismo produces barley, DOP and PGI wines, fruit, vegetables, jams, and canned fruit.
Guests can participate in the seasonal farm activities; take archery lessons in the field with 26 lanes; take walks or ride horseback in the neighboring Gessi Bolognesi and Calanchi dell’Abbadessa Regional Park; visit Ronzano, Monte Bibele, and Sasso Marconi (with the house and museum dedicated to Guglielmo Marconi).
Inform the agriturismo of any animals at the time of booking.
