via San Giuseppe, 736 -, Saludecio 47835 Saludecio (Rimini) Code 099015-AG-00016
The structure is located in open countryside surrounded by centuries-old olive groves; recently built, it respects anti-seismic regulations and the main fundamentals of bio-architecture.
Saludecio, among the most important towns of the Conca Valley, is located on the border between Romagna and Marche, at the center of the crown of Malatesta castles and a few kilometers from the sea.
The rooms are adjoining the restaurant, play on the light tones of bleached wood, and combine art and design furniture. Spacious and bright, they have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, mini-bar, safe, TV and balcony. King rooms with large corner whirlpool tubs. Connecting rooms are available for families.
In the evening you can relax with some good books that are always available in the rooms, choosing from the small selection of fiction and local culture.
If you choose half board, the menu includes appetizer, first course, second course and dessert.
The raw materials used are homegrown or carefully selected from small local producers.
The cuisine is modern and inspired by tradition and the local area. Following the restaurant's philosophy, the freshness and authenticity of ingredients are brought to the table, enhanced by attention to cooking. Finally, a special eye is paid to the seasonality of vegetables, meats and fish (mainly fish from the Adriatic).
At breakfast , guests can enjoy, in addition to the products of small local artisans, homemade breads, cakes and cookies and jams, all accompanied by a good fair trade huehuetenango coffee (Slow-food presidium). Lovers of savory foods will appreciate the homemade cured meats and salumi di mora romagnola from the Zavoli farm in Saludecio. Breakfasts for celiacs are available upon request.
During the day it is possible to relax with a dip in the olive grove pool or an ecological walk in the signposted nature trail in the surrounding countryside.
Saludecio, in the middle Conca valley, is perfect as a starting point for historical and artistic itineraries through the duchy of Montefeltro and the Malatesta seigniory (provinces of Pesaro and Rimini)
Just 24 km away you will meet Urbino, the ideal city, the Florence of the Adriatic, birthplace of the great Raphael and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At 28 Km Rimini, the Malatesta counterpart, with its imposing 15th-century fortress (Castel Sismondo) and the majestic Malatesta Temple, the work of Leon Battista Alberti, but also with its notable Roman remains (Arch of Augustus, Tiberius Bridge, Surgeon's Domus)
Thirty-four kilometers away is San Marino, the oldest republic in the world, the ancient land of liberty and, behind it, the surprising little jewel of San Leo (42 km).
Also within easy reach are Malatesta Cesena, Pesaro (24km) and Fano and, above all, Byzantine Ravenna (80 Km), with its golden mosaics.
A trip to the small fortified villages of the Conca and Marecchia Valleys (Gradara, Montefiore, Montebello, Verucchio...) will not be missed.
For those who want to relax with the greenery and nature a few kilometers away is the Monte di San Bartolo nature park, tuffaceous cliffs overlooking the sea, the wildlife reserve and caves of Onferno and the Monte Simone and Simoncello nature park.
And again, crossing the Marches into Umbria, it won't be difficult to reach Gubbio (92 km), a perfectly preserved medieval town and birthplace of Federico da Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino.
You can also take advantage of the nearby conventioned beach of Misano Adriatico or delve into the fascinating park of the promontory of Mount San Bartolo, with its splendid wild coves, one above all that of Fiorenzuola di Focara.
Finally, we recommend indulging in interesting excursions to discover the artistic and cultural treasures of the hinterland with the possibility of guided tours, to meet oil mills, wineries, artisan workshops and farms.
