The agriturismo
Cascina Binè is a renovated traditional farmhouse with a wine cellar, tasting room and rooms overlooking the estate vineyards. In the summer season, we give our guests the opportunity to spend the evening with us, with the opening of our kitchen where they can taste our wines paired with dishes designed and prepared by us. Thursday through Sunday, reservation required.
Designed to create a link that would unite the Ghio family's winemaking soul with the need to introduce the territory and its most beloved products to the world.
The tastings give everyone the opportunity to get closer to the world of wine from Gavi, an area rich in excellence that the owners offer as an accompaniment to their own white and red wines.
The accommodation
Already starting with the renovation, special attention was given to respecting the territory by making the structure energy independent (with a geothermal system) and plastic free to reduce more the impact on the environment.
The same furniture that makes our apartments warm and cozy is either salvaged or made with only wood produced and treated by artisans in our small villages.
All apartments sleep up to four people in a double twin bed and a sofa bed that can also be adapted for single use. The modern but vintage-looking bathrooms offer many comforts for guests.
The property has a large tasting room with panoramic views of the vineyards ready to host ceremonies, private events, conferences, meetings and corporate events all year round.
The vineyards ofBinè Società Agricola are certified organic and through a very careful study and great work give us the possibility to obtain a genuine and high quality product.
Activities and surrounding
La Cascina is located in the Gavi DOCG wine area, just a few kilometers from several places of interest such as the fortress and pretty village of Gavi, the ancient Roman city of Libarna, the Designer Outlet of Serravalle , and the town of Novi Ligure, known for its gastronomic excellence such as focaccia and chocolate. Its historic center gathers a good number of historic buildings, which are easy to visit and offer interesting events in every season.
The area can be defined as a borderland, since although it is in fact a Piedmontese territory, it is closer to Liguria, and this is reflected in many of the traditions, from cuisine to dialect forms and even music, which are enriched by each other.
As the crow flies, it is only 30 kilometers from the sea , which is why it can be a good starting point for pleasant trips to the Ligurian beaches as well, with the possibility in the evening itself to return to the peace of our vineyards and enjoy savoring a glass of good wine at sunset.
In particular then, our province is located in the center of a profitable commercial triangle between Turin, Milan and Genoa. For this reason, all three of these important cities can be reached in about an hour, which also places us in a very convenient position to access the major airports in northern Italy.
Certainly the distinguishing feature of Cascina Binè is being immersed in nature in the vicinity there are in fact severaltrekking and mountain bike trails. Accompanied by dedicated guides, guests will be able to enter many mountain trails recently reclaimed by volunteer groups in the nearby Val Borbera and immerse themselves more deeply in an area waiting to be discovered.
