The farmhouse organizes cooking classes to try the ancient recipes of the Umbrian tradition and taste them after having prepared them together with the staff:
- from the products of the garden, a course on the preparation of soups for all seasons;
- Umbria dishes: the meat, processing and cooking typical of the region. Preparations of rabbit, lamb, wild boar, pork and chianina meat;
- the truffle, a thousand ways to appreciate it;
- bread and rustic pizzas in the wood-fired oven;
- the rustic cookies, pancakes and Christmas cakes;
- liqueurs and jams, looking for the best recipes.

Agriculture at Poggio del Bolognino has its fundamental moments in the grape and olive harvest. Guests can live them together, to rediscover the ancient work of the countryside and to taste its fruits.
For those who love nature, the horse is the ideal companion for long walks to discover the Umbrian hills. Possibility to host your horse in the paddocks of the farm; we also organize excursions on horseback in collaboration with nearby equestrian centers, which provide qualified instructors.
By mountain bike, guests can travel on and off-road for dozens of kilometres. Cycling enthusiasts are offered excursions, also with expert guides, on routes suitable for a quiet walk or a challenging ride.
From mid-October until the end of November, the staff proposes a visit to the oil mill with tasting of the new oil, to see how the extra virgin olive oil is produced and to learn how to recognize its quality.
The area surrounding the agriturismo is crossed by a dense network of paths, often very ancient, which in the past connected the towns, the Tiber valley, the Amerina road, cultivated fields and woods. Today they allow walks in a unique environment.
The farmhouse is 15 km from the Naturalistic Oasis of Alviano, on the Tiber, protected by the WWF, which is part of a Regional Park of Umbria and includes all the typical environments of freshwater wetlands: marsh, pond, marsh, rotten, hygrophilous forest, among the most extensive in the Central Apennines.
Just 10 minutes away is the beautiful medieval village of Lugnano in Teverina, known in particular for its 12th century Collegiate Church. At 8 km the medieval centre of Alviano, with the castle. At 10 km you can visit Amelia, with the polygonal walls, the Cathedral, the Roman cisterns.
With 35 minutes by car you can reach the historic centers of Orvieto and Viterbo, Lake Bolsena, the ancient Terme dei Papi.
