The farm is located in S. Stefano, among the hills of Valdobbiadene, UNESCO heritage site,on the route of the oldest Italian wine road, which leads from Valdobbiadene to Vittorio Veneto.
In the cellar, surrounded by vines, the Valdobbiadene Superiore Docg dry, brut and extra dry sparkling wine is produced, as well as the characteristic wine with the bottom, re-fermented in the bottle.
Thewinemaking activity has been awarded several times over time. At weekends, the restaurant, run directly by the family, offers traditional local menus and raw materials from the farm.
The 6 rooms where guests stay have been obtained from the old barn: each room has a private toilet, satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning and wi-fi.
In the morning, an abundant sweet and savoury buffet breakfast is served with cold meats and eggs, bread and jams, cakes and homemade biscuits.
The rooms are open all year round.
The specialities of the cuisine are linked to the regional tradition: the cold cuts are made from pigs from the farm; you can taste bean soup, gnocchi, mixed meat skewer, melted cheese, cakes and tarts strictly homemade. Lunches are enlivened by the company's Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
The restaurant is open Friday and Saturday evenings, Sundays and midweek holidays (reservation recommended). Closed in January, September and October.
In addition to participating in the company's activities, you can explore the wonderful surrounding area, rich in trails for trekking and mountain biking.
You can follow theprosecco ring, a path that in 10 km between Saccol and Santo Stefano di Barbozza allows you to visit wonderful lands, vineyards (including the Cartizze one), wine cellars and taste local gastronomic delights.
You can visit the Palladian villas in Maser and Fanzolo, the historic centres of Conegliano, Bassano, Feltre, Asolo; the delightful city of Treviso is an hour's drive away.
The nearby mountains offer marvellous views of the Belluno Prealps and the Venice lagoon, and there are refreshment points with excellent malga products.
