The agriturismo

Valpiana is a spacious independent stone farmhouse dating back to the 15th century, in a dominating position at 450 m a.s.l., surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods, on the borders of a National Park, 3.5 km from Londa, between Valdisieve, Mugello and Casentino . It has a large well-kept garden, fenced and private swimming pool.

It organizes for its guestsguided tours to the cellars and the oil mill, but also to the olive groves and vineyards, thus offering a complete overview of the production process, naturally followed bywine and oil tasting.

It is in a perfect position to visit Florence, Arezzo and discover the gems of the area. Ideal for nature lovers, hikers, photographers and painters, wine lovers, reunions of friends / family, Tuscan cuisine, culture enthusiasts.

The accommodation

Valpiana is a picturesque farmhouse originally built in the 15th century and later modified into its final structure in the mid-1800s by the famous architect Giuseppe Poggi.

On the ground floor is the atrium with its original stone floor, a cozy large dining room / kitchen well equipped, a large living room with its spectacular fireplace, a bedroom for one person and a bathroom with toilet suitable for handicapped persons.

Upstairs are all 6 bedrooms, very spacious and bright, and 2 more bathrooms with modern and functional facilities. All the rooms have the original wooden ceilings while the floors have been partially renovated, using traditional terracotta tiles. Three bedrooms have double beds and there is the possibility to connect 2 single beds in case you want four double beds. The house is very well furnished with authentic Tuscan style furniture and particular attention to comfort!

At guests' disposal there is a large garden with cypress trees, flowers, fruit trees, herbs for cooking, a hammock, private pool, outdoor shower, barbecue.
